India to tour Sri Lanka for white ball series in July 2024
Sri Lanka Cricket on Wednesday announced that they will host the Indian men's cricket team for three ODIs and three T20Is after the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the Future Tours Program (FTP) for the men's cricket team in 2024, starting with a home series against Zimbabwe in January. The Sri Lanka National Cricket Team will play 10 Tests, 21 ODIs and 21 T20I matches in the next calendar year.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Wednesday announced that India will tour the island nation for a six-match white-ball series (three ODIs and three T20Is) in July 2024 after next year's T20 World Cup. The men's national team will play 52 international matches in 2024, including 10 Tests, 21 ODIs and 21 T20Is. The T20Is, on the other hand, do not take into account the additional matches they will play during the T20 World Cup.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) suspended SLC on November 10 due to political involvement. However, following a hearing with an SLC representative, Sri Lanka was later permitted to participate in international and bilateral cricket.
Following the series, Sri Lanka will face Afghanistan in a series comprising one Test, three ODIs and three T20Is from January to February. The team is scheduled to play against Bangladesh in two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup. It hosts India for a 6-match white-ball series in July.

The Lankan team will travel to the UK for a two-match Test series against England in August-September 2024. Following the red-ball away series, Sri Lanka will host New Zealand for a two-match Test series at home, expected to take place in September next year.
The Sri Lanka team will play a three-match Test series against England in mid-year, followed by visits to South Africa and New Zealand at the end of the 2024 season.

“The 2024 calendar is expected to provide our players with plenty of playing opportunities, entertainment for fans and a large presence from our sponsors,” De Silva added.
