North Zone won the BCL One Day format final. Shahadat Hossain Dipu's century for the East Zone went in vain. Pritom Kumar and captain Akbar Ali scored a pair of half-centuries to win the match for North Zone. North Zone pacer Nahid Rana took five of the six wickets of East Zone.

North Zone lost quick wickets in the run chase, but ultimately they won. Pacer Nahid Rana spoke to reporters after the match. 

About his feelings, Rana said, “Everyone feels good, I’m also feeling good too. I got five wickets, Alhamdulillah feels great."

Rana did not think much while bowling. “I did not think much. I tried to bowl line to line, not give space,” he added.

This pacer has been around the national team for several days. He is always ready when called. If he gets a chance, he wants to give his best. Rana wants to do well in BPL too.

"As a player, I think everyone should always be prepared. Various coaches have worked for the National Team, HP. I will try to do something good for the country if I can. I will try to give my best wherever I get the opportunity,” Rana further said.

Rana got help from the wicket at the beginning of the bowling. Calling the wicket a sporting wicket, Rana again said, “I got a little help in the beginning. The wicket is a true wicket. Good for batting, good for also."

The pacer was adjudged man of the match in the final in recognition of his impeccable bowling performance. He received BDT 25 thousand as a reward.
