25 members of young and talented cricketers are in the High Performance (HP) Unit squad. Their camp is set to start from July 17 without their head coach Simon Helmot.

Currently, Helmot is in the charge of Trinbago Knight Riders in Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 2016. He will be available for HP Unit only after the end of CPL. So the camp will start with local coaches. Rumors arose that Simon Helmot will not come to Bangladesh after the terror attack at Holey Artisan Restaurant in the diplomatic area of the capital, Gulshan. But it is learnt that Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) did not spoke to the Australian about this matter. From the start of the HP camp, five local coaches will be available for the 25 member squad. Mizanur Rahman Babul, Jafrul Ehsan, Sohel Islam, Golam Murtaza and Wahidul Gani will be in charge.These five coaches will do five different duties. Babul will work for the pace bowlers, Wahidul Gani for the spinners. Besides, Jafrul will work for the batsmen. Sohel will coach the fielders. Last, but not the least, Murtaza will work for the wicket-keepers. 25 members of HP squad: Shadman Islam, Abdul Mazid, Mehedi Maruf, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mahedi Hasan, Saif Hassan, Tasamul Haque, Al-Amin, Salman Hossain, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Saifuddin, Alauddin Babu, Sunzamul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Rana, Nur Hossain Munna, Tanveer Haider, Saqlain Sajib, Ashiquzzaman, Abu Hider Rony, Subashis Roy, Nur Alam Saddam, Ebadat Hossain Chowdhury, Zakir Hasan and Irfan Sukkur. -Ruffin, Correspondent, bdcricteam.com
