Former England captain and ODI World Cup champion Eoin Morgan believes India has the strongest lineup for the forthcoming T20 World Cup in 2024. The biggest event of this year is set to take place in the United States and the West Indies. Despite India's lack of ICC tournament triumphs since winning the Champions Trophy in 2013, they are constantly seen as favourites in major ICC events. This reputation is due to the depth and quality of the Indian squad, which is frequently stocked with the world's top cricketers.

India's performance at ICC competitions has frequently seen them labelled as pre-tournament favourites. The Indian cricket team has a wealth of experienced and talented players, ensuring that they remain competitive in every big event. “The strongest side, even with injuries throughout the tournament, is India, without a doubt. Their strength and depth is absolutely incredible at the moment. And it’s almost probably, we’re talking about who the players that were missed out in their squad of 15 because of the quality that they possess," Morgan said

“They are favorites for me. I think that they’re just the quality that they have on paper. If they produce it, I think they can, they can beat anybody quite well in the tournament," he added.
