South Africa outclassed India by an innings and 32 runs on Thursday (28th December) and finished the boxing day test only inside 3 days. Kagiso Rabada's ruthless bowling both in first and second innings. Earlier the day, Dean Elgar was out as a harmless delivery from Thakur got his nick and he was out on his individual 185. But his partner Marco Jansen wasn’t in any mood to stop. He started to make carnage and made a gorgeous 84 and helped South Africa have a lead of 163 runs. Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers for India as he had a four fer. Siraj had two and others contributed with one each.
With 163 runs behind, India had a horrendous start as Nandre Burger got the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal for 5 off 18. Rabada sent Rohit's stumps for cartwheeling for a 8 ball duck.
