Dhaka Metro booked their spot in the final of the National Cricket League (NCL) T20, joining Rangpur. Led by skipper Naim Sheikh, Dhaka Metro rebounded strongly in the second qualifier, defending a modest total of 119 to secure a decisive win and confirm their place in the title clash.

Opting to bat first, Dhaka Metro managed to post 119 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Naim Sheikh led from the front, scoring a solid 57 off 53 balls with six boundaries and one six. Support came from Shohidul Islam (16 off 19) and Imran Uzzaman (14 off 10).

Returning from a break, Khulna’s star bowler Mustafizur Rahman bowled his full quota of 4 overs, conceding 35 runs and claiming one wicket. Masum Khan Tutul, Sheikh Parvez Jibon, and Mehedi Hasan Rana each chipped in with two wickets.

Chasing 120, Khulna crumbled under Dhaka Metro's disciplined bowling attack, folding for just 81 runs in 17.4 overs. Nurul Hasan Sohan (22) and Anamul Haque Bijoy (16) were the only batters to reach double figures.

Dhaka Metro’s all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain made an instant impact, claiming three wickets. Rakibul Hasan and Maruf Mridha also contributed with two wickets each, ensuring a comfortable victory for their side.
