Gujrat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals by 3 wickete on Thursday (11th April). Dual fifties from captain Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag carried Rajasthan to 196 runs. In reply, Shubman Gill's 72 and vital cameos from Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia chased down the total.

Yuzvendra Chahal bowled exceptionally well despite his team lost the game. Before the match against Gujrat Titans he had a tally of 8 wickets and he picked up the wickets of Gujrat Titans captain Shubman Gill and all rounder Vijay Shankar. For this two wickets against GT, he became the highest wicket-taker in this season of Indian Premier League (IPL) with a tally of 10 wickets, while Mustafizur is one shy off Chahal. However, Mustafizur played one less match than Chahal due to visa processing procedure Mustafizur had to get back to Bangladesh and as a result he missed the crucial match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
