Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets on Monday (1st April) at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Scintillating spells from Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult combined of 6 wickets to demolish Mumbai Indians lineup and restricted them to 125-9. Riyan Parag became star of RR once again with the bat to chase down the total.

Chahal bowled miserly to concede just 11 runs and scalped 3 crucial wickets.
Earlier, opting to bowl first, Trent Boult and Nandre Burger demonstrated a fast bowling masterclass. Boult had three MI batters for golden ducks - Rohit, Brevis and Naman Dhir and left them stuttering on 20-4. MI skipper Hardik Pandya tried to salvage the situation and made 34 off 21 balls before falling to Chahal. It was Chahal at the middle who ran riot. Tim David consumed 24 balls only to score 17 runs, tells a lot about Mumbai's innings. Mumbai could just manage 125 runs on the board after alloted 20 overs.

Chahal was the pick of the bowlers as he had a 3 fer conceding only 11 runs in his four over quota. While Boult came next with 3 wickets and conceded 22 runs.

In reply, Rajasthan didn’t start properly. Losing their top three for cheaply. But once again it was Riyan Parag, who newly was prompted to number four and started to show his worth of the position. He blasted a magnificent 54* off only 39 balls to take his side home unscathed. That was a spirited bowling efforts for Mumbai to leave RR to 48-3, but they were always a few runs short here at Wankhede.
