Oman's speedster Bilal Khan created history in the ODI Cricket by breaking Shaheen Shah Afridi's record on Wednesday (24th July). The 37-year-old paceman achieved the milestone during ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 match between Oman and Namibia in Dundee.

Bilal dismissed 3 batters and conceded 50 runs in his 10 over quota. The three wickets helped him reach to the tally of 100 wickets feat in the one-dayers in his 49 outings in this format. This record broke Shaheen Shah Afridi's world record of piling up 100 wickets in 51 ODI's.

The all-time record of becoming the fastest bowler to dismiss 100 batters in ODI's is in the hold of Sandeep Lamichhane, who achieved the milestone in his 42 match and he is followed by Afghanistan's star leg spinner Rashid Khan, who needed 44 ODI's for 100 wickets. Bilal is now third on the list and is followed by Shaheen (51 ODI's) and Australian pacer Mitchell Starc (52 ODI's).
