The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 will start on March 11, while the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has already begun.  This year, no Bangladeshi cricketer has been picked for the IPL. However, three players from Bangladesh have been picked by PSL teams and have already applied for No Objection Certificates (NOCs), which BDCricTime confirmed.

There will be three Bangladeshi players in the PSL 2025. Their names are Rishad Hossain (Lahore Qalandars), Litton Das (Karachi Kings), and Nahid Rana (Peshawar Zalmi).

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that Rishad Hossain will be able to play in the two-match Test series against Zimbabwe in April, even though he is not in Bangladesh's Test team.  The young leg-spinner has never played in a foreign franchise game before.

Meanwhile, Litton Das and Nahid Rana will be able to play in the PSL, but only for a short time.  The board wants to let them go after they play a few Tests against Zimbabwe. This will give them a chance to play in the PSL.

In the past, the BCB was strict about players playing in foreign T20 games and would often turn down NOCs.  The new administration, on the other hand, is being more open in order to give Bangladeshi players more chances to play in high-stakes T20 tournaments.

The board has also suggested that players like Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman might be able to play in the IPL 2025 if they get a deal.
