BCB announces strong women's squad for Asian Games
Nahida Akter is the vice-captain. Batter Fargana Hoque, Shamima Sultana and other regular cricketers are on the team.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the women's squad for the Asian Games Cricket to be held in China. The 19th Asian Games will be held in Guangzhou. Tigresses will play under the leadership of Nigar Sultana Joty.
Nahida Akter is the vice-captain. Batter Fargana Hoque, Shamima Sultana and other regular cricketers are on the team. There is Marufa Akter, who showed great performance in the national team in the U19 World Cup and the recently concluded India series.
Rumana Ahmed is not on the team this time either. She announced his retirement from cricket a few days ago. Apart from this, the notable event is the absence of pacer Jahanara Alam. All-rounder Salma Khatun did not have a place in the 15-member team also. But this former captain is on standby.
Bangladesh women's team is in good form after recently drawing the ODI series against India. The result of this series will give confidence to the Tigresses in the Asian Games as well.
