The president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hasan Papon has ensured that Bangladesh will get VVIP security in Ireland and England. World Cup 2019 jersey

It's just a couple of months ago when the Bangladesh team escaped a brutal terrorist attack in New Zealand and since the incident, questions have been raised over the security system during the away tours. After the terrorist attack, it was known that there was no protection provided by New Zealand and the players of Bangladesh used to roam around and go to pray in mosques without any security. And after getting up the wake-up call, BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon said in a press conference once that they won't go to away tours anymore if proper security is not provided. Meanwhile addressing the media on Monday, the BCB president stuck to his words and ensured that the players will be provided VVIP security during their stay in Ireland and England "Players will be provided VVIP security during their stay in Ireland and England. Since the New Zealand incident, security has became a major issue and we need to address it and take a final decision in this regard." "We have communicated with our Embassy in England and decided to employ the private security agencies comprising four members that are often asked to come forward when someone like our Prime Minister or any VVIP arrives there. Apart from that we will have our own security personnel to make sure everything moves smoothly. And ICC is expected to provide us two security official during the World Cup and we are taking them to Ireland on our own account while a member of BCB's security committee will always be there," he added. Bangladesh will be taking on Ireland and Windies in a tri-nation series in Ireland, which is set to kick off on May 5 while the World Cup will begin on May 30 in England.
