Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the 15-member squad for the 19th Asian Games. Saif Hassan will lead the team. The Bangladesh team will fly to Hangzhou, China on September 29.

The Asian Games squad includes several cricketers who have played in the national team. There are 8 cricketers with international cricket experience. Along with captain Saif, Parvez Hossain Emon, Zakir Hasan, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Mahmudul Hasan Joy will be in charge of opening and handling the top order. Apart from this, Yasir Ali, Afif Hossain, who have played for a long time in the national team, will play an important role in the middle order. Jaker Ali Anik, who was called up to the T20 team once, is also on the team. 

The bowling department is also quite promising. Among the pacers are Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, Ripon Mondol, Sumon Khan, and Nahid Rana. Rakibul Hasan, Rishad Hossain, and Hasan Murad have also made it to the team as specialist spinners.

Bangladesh will play directly from the quarter-finals in the Asian Games. Saif Hasan's team will play their first match on October 4.
