White ball captain Babar Azam and Red ball captain Shan Masood, along with other senior members of the Pakistan cricket team, will be attending a day-long workshop on Monday, organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The purpose of this workshop is to outline a future roadmap for Pakistan cricket.

Aside from Babar and Shan, the session will feature prominent names like Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the significance of the gathering, saying, "We aim to identify key issues, foster open dialogue, and collectively agree on a strategic path forward to successfully reshape Pakistan cricket." Naqvi sees the Connection Camp as a crucial step in aligning strategies to help restore the team’s past glory. The PCB remains hopeful that this workshop will build upon previous discussions with former players and lead to a more efficient strategy. The goal is to improve player management and overall team performance, according to Naqvi.

National coaches, including Jason Gillespie and Gary Kirsten, assistant coach Azhar Mahmood, and high-performance expert David Reid, will also be part of the gathering. Test captain Shan Masood mentioned that the session will focus on setting performance goals, developing player pathways, and boosting grassroots cricket efforts. While Gillespie is optimistic about the benefits of the meeting, Kirsten emphasized the importance of refining Pakistan’s approach to white-ball cricket.
