All round brilliance from Cummins gives Australia an unassailable lead of 2-0
Travis Head's blitzkrieg 45 off 22 deliveries and superb bowling show from the Aussies especially 4 fer from Adam Zampa and 2 wickets from Nathan Ellis wrapped Kiwis up for a meagre 102 runs which gave Australia a 72 run victory.

Australia have beaten New Zealand by on Friday (23rd February) to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3 match T20I series. Travis Head's blitzkrieg 45 off 22 deliveries and superb bowling show from the Aussies especially 4 fer from Adam Zampa and 2 wickets from Nathan Ellis wrapped Kiwis up for a meagre 102 runs which gave Australia a 72 run victory.
Chasing 175, New Zealand faltered earlier of their innings as Fin Allen fell to Josh Hazlewood for 6 off 6. Pat Cummins with the new ball got Will Young and New Zealand lost their openers in span of 2 overs. Skipper Santner consumed 13 balls to score only 7 runs. Glenn Phillips and stood tall for Kiwis and made a fine 42 off just 35 balls before Zampa removed him.
Zampa teared apart Kiwis middle and gave Australia the upper hand. Nathan Ellis finished things off by picking up two wickets at the backend of the innings. New Zealand were bundled for 102 runs.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Kiwis chose to bowl first. Being inserted to bat first, Australia started off to a flier as the first over saw 20 runs. Head made a swashbuckling 45 off only 22 balls and gave Australia a flying start. But after the departure of Head, Australia collapsed horribly and lost quick wickets.
Mitchell Marsh scored only 26 off 21. At the backend of the innings, Pat Cummins fighting 28 off 22 balls helped Australia post 174, which was well enough for their bowlers to defend.
