Cricket Australia on Tuesday (19th March) postponed the 3 match T20I series against Afghanistan. This is the third time they've cancelled a bilateral series against Afghanistan. They cited human rights violations against women and their non - participation in Cricket in Afghanistan behind their decision. But ACB urged CA to keep politics aside and make Cricket a politics - free game across the world.

Before the T20I series, Australia cancelled two bilateral series against Afghanistan. One is that one - off test in Australian summer and another one is after the BGT in India, where these two sides were about to meet for a 3 match ODI series.
