The Karachi Kings Suffers abig blow as Fast bowler Adam Milne has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 with a knee injury.
The Karachi Kings New Zealand pace man Adam Milne has been ruled out because of a knee injury.
Milne injured himself on April 15 during Karachi's second match of the season against Lahore Qalandars. Even though he stayed in the team hoping for recovery, medical tests revealed that the right-hander will not be available for this season.
The Karachi Kings have signed 19-year-old wicketkeeper and batsman, and captain of the Pakistan Under-19 national team Saad Baig on a short-term basis to replace Adam Milne for the rest of the tournament.
Saad Baig, who joined the team initially as a replacement for Kane Williamson, appeared in two games this season and managed to score 29 runs, including a attacking run against Islamabad United.
In spite of losing their key overseas bowler, the Kings are still well placed in the points table and are currently at number two with three victories from five games.
The 2020 winners started the tournament on a high note by beating Multan Sultans convincingly, scoring a big total of 235 runs. The Kings also beat Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs comfortably.
Karachi Kings were defeated by Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United but yet gained a two-wicket victory against Peshawar Zalmi in a closely fought encounter.
