Abahani and Mohammedan Sporting Club will play in the last game of the Super League part of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL). It should be a very interesting game.  Both teams are trying to get to the top of the standings, so this game has become an "unofficial final."

Abahani are currently in first place in the Super League table, having won all four of their games and accumulated eight points.  On the other hand, Mohammedan are in second place with six points after winning three of their four games.  So, the final game between these two teams will decide who wins the league in the end.

If Abahani win the last game, they will have 10 points, 4 points more than Mohammedan, and will have won the league title.  If Mohammedan do beat Abahani, though, both teams will finish with 8 points.  In this case, Mohammedan will win the title because they have a better head-to-head record.

Legends of Rupganj are in third place in the table, followed by Gazi Group Cricketers, Agrani Bank Cricket Club, and Gulshan Cricket Club. However, none of these teams are in the running for the title.

The race for the most runs scored is heating up also as the league comes to a close.  Anamul Haque Bijoy has an amazing 874 runs and is currently at the top of the list, but he is busy with national team duties.  Parvez Hossain Emon has 770 runs, which puts him in second place. Naim Sheikh, who has 618 runs, is in third place.
