England somehow have come up top after the day 3 in Edgbaston Test. They were holing out to 54-5 but the West Indies let things slip as England bounced back after the top order wreak havoc.

West Indies will be gutted to let things slip after strangling England to 54-5. 
Alzarri Joseph ran riot through the English top order and ripped them through to 54-5. But England gained the ascendency as skipper Ben Stokes and Joe Root had a century stand together to come out from the deep trouble. After the departure of the skipper, Root got hands in wk-batter Jamie Smith, the duo stitched 62 runs stand which followed by Jamie Smith and Chris Woakes, who had another century stand to knock West Indies out of the game.

West Indies would be terribly disappointed after the start they had in the morning but they let things slip in a jiffy. Jamie Smith top scored for England as he was 5 short of his maiden Test century. Joe Root came out next with his brilliant 85 run knock. Chris Woakes swung his bat for a while to blast a quick-fire 62 off 79 balls to help England score a massive first innings total of 376, in reply of West Indies' 282.

West Indies were in trail of 94 runs and Chris Woakes knocked over captain Kraigg Brathwaite for a 6 ball duck, Gus Atkinson then had Kirk McKenzie and West Indies struggling on 33-2.

West Indies are still 61 runs behind of England and they'll be under pressure tomorrow. While the England are on top of the Test match once again.
