In a recent video shared by the BCCI, Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli revealed his favorite Test century scored on Australian soil. Out of his 29 Test centuries, six of which came in Australia, Kohli was asked to pick his top knock. While fans may have expected him to mention his famous twin hundreds at Adelaide during his captaincy debut in 2014, Kohli surprised many by choosing a different innings.

During a headshot session with Team India, fast bowler Mohammed Siraj asked Kohli to name his best knock in Australia and the venue where it was played. 

Without hesitation, Kohli named his 123-run innings at Perth in the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy as his favorite. Kohli explained that this particular hundred stood out to him because of the tough conditions at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

"My best knock in Australia is definitely my hundred at Perth, 2018-19 series that we played. I thought that’s the toughest pitch that I’ve played on in Test cricket, it was great to have a hundred on that one,” Kohli shared in the video.

Perth, known for its pace and bounce, has long been a challenging venue for visiting batsmen. Only four Indian batters, including Sunil Gavaskar, Mohinder Amarnath, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli, have managed to score centuries at Perth's WACA Ground and Optus Stadium, with all four knocks coming in demanding conditions.
