Pakistan national cricket team pacer Hasan Ali stole the show on Friday night both with the ball and his playful antics as Karachi Kings thrashed Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs in Match 8 of PSL 2025 at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.

In a light-hearted moment that went viral Hasan mocked Abrar Ahmed’s famous head-nod celebration right after dismissing him. The moment came in the 19th over when Abrar swung wildly at a slower delivery but missed and the ball crashed into the leg stump. Hasan didn’t hold back he celebrated with Abrar’s own signature move, sending fans into a frenzy.

The Pakistan Super League’s official account shared the clip on social media with the caption:

“Hasan Ali, out here sweeping wickets. Abrar has been clean bowled 🎳.”

But it wasn’t just about the banter. With Abrar’s wicket Hasan Ali etched his name in PSL history by becoming the league’s highest wicket-taker surpassing former Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz with his 114th scalp.

As for the match it was all Kings from the start. Batting first the David Warner-led side put up a strong total of 175/7 riding on a classy 70 off 47 balls from James Vince. Warner chipped in with a handy 31, while Mohammad Nabi added 18.

Quetta’s chase never got going. Their top order collapsed under pressure and only Mohammad Amir’s quick 30 off 16 balls showed some fight. The Gladiators limped to 119/9 falling short by 56 runs.
