The moment came during the 11th ball of the inning, bowled by Reece Topley, when Pepper attempted to loft the ball over mid-on.

Santner, stationed at mid-on, kept his eyes locked on the ball as it swirled in the air. He sprinted back with outstanding agility and executed a diving catch at deep mid-on to send Pepper back to the pavilion for just 3 runs.
