In a thrilling moment during Match 10 of the SA20 2025 between Joburg Super Kings (JSK) and Pretoria Capitals (PC), South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira wowed the crowd with a sensational "Superman-like" catch to dismiss Senuran Muthusamy.

The incredible fielding effort came in the final over of Pretoria’s innings, highlighting Ferreira's agility and athleticism.

With Hardus Viljoen bowling the last over, Muthusamy attempted a big hit down the ground but mistimed it. Positioned at mid-on, Ferreira leaped into the air and completed a stunning one-handed catch, sending Muthusamy back to the dugout. Despite Ferreira's heroics, rain forced the match to be abandoned, with both teams sharing the points. After being asked to bat, Pretoria Capitals posted a modest total of 138/8 in 20 overs. Will Jacks and Kyle Verreyne tried to stabilize the innings after losing Rahmanullah Gurbaz for a duck, but the middle order struggled against Joburg's disciplined bowling attack.

Moeen Ali led the way with 2/21 from his four overs, while Ferreira shone with both bat and ball, claiming 2/17 from his three overs and taking the spectacular catch that left everyone in awe.

Due to the rain, both teams received two points, with Joburg Super Kings moving to the top of the table with 10 points. Pretoria Capitals are now tied for second place with MI Cape Town, sitting on nine points.
