Highlights
Australian batter Chris Lynn once again reminded fans of his explosive power-hitting as he launched a massive 104-meter six during the Adelaide Strikers’ clash with Brisbane Heat in the 2024-25 Big Bash League (BBL) season. Lynn, known for his aggressive batting style, hammered the huge six off Xavier Bartlett, marking yet another stunning display of his ability to clear the boundary with ease.
On the last delivery of the third over, Xavier Bartlett bowled a length ball on the middle and leg stump. Lynn, quick to spot the slower delivery, stepped down the track and unleashed a powerful shot over the deep mid-wicket boundary. The ball soared into the stands, travelling a remarkable 104 meters, rekindling memories of his famous 121-meter six against Shaun Tait in 2016 at the same ground.

Despite this breathtaking moment, Lynn’s innings was cut short at 24 runs off 21 balls, including two boundaries and one six. His dismissal by Will Prestwidge put a dent in the Strikers' batting momentum, but the team still managed to post a competitive total.
The Adelaide Strikers finished their innings with 174/6 from 20 overs, largely thanks to late heroics from Jamie Overton, who smashed an impressive 45 off 25 balls.
In response, the Brisbane Heat pulled off a thrilling last-ball win, chasing down the target of 175. Nathan McSweeney was the standout performer, playing a match-winning knock of 78* off 49 balls. McSweeney's calm and composed innings guided the Heat to a nail-biting finish, sealing the victory in the final moments of the game.
