Wanindu Hasaranga ruled out of New Zealand ODI series, Dushan Hemantha comes as replacement

Sri Lanka's spin wizard Wanindu Hasaranga has been ruled out of the ODI series against New Zealand, which commences from Wednesday (November 13). Dushan Hemantha has been added to the squad in place of Hasaranga.

Sri Lanka's updated T20I squad against New Zealand: Charith Asalanka (Captain), Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera, Kamindu Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal, Avishka Fernando, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dushan Hemantha, Maheesh Theekshana, Dunith Wellalage, Jeffrey Vandersay, Chamidu Wickramasinghe, Nuwan Thushara, Matheesha Pathirana, Binura Fernando, Asitha Fernando.
The first ODI match of the series will be played on November 13, with the remaining two fixtures set to take place on November 17, and 19. The first ODI will be held in Dambulla, and the last two ODI matches will be conducted at the Pallekele Stadium.
The T20I series between these two teams have come to a settlement as the series was ended by 1-1. After winning the first T20I in a close contest, Sri Lanka suffered a close 5-run defeat in the second T20I in Dambulla.
