Bangladesh have won the toss and opted to bat first against the visitors Australia in the third of five-match T20I series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The hosts are leading the series by 2-0.

Rain has delayed the toss for 1 and half hours. The match is scheduled to start at 7:15 pm Bangladeshi time with no overs loss. And the good news is that there’s little chance of rain throughout the match.

Bangladesh stick to their winning combination with the spin-heavy attack which caused much trouble for the Aussie batsmen in the last two matches.

While Australia have made three changes to their side. Ben Mcdermott, Dan Christian, Nathan Ellis have replaced Josh Philippe, Mitchell Starc and Andrew Tye. Ellis has been handed cap for the first time in international cricket.

Bangladesh are on the verge of first-ever bilateral series win against Australia with two matches in hand and Australian batters will find answers to Bangladesh’s bowling attack.

Bangladesh won the first two matches dominantly as Australian batsmen fell miserably to the Bangladesh bowlers. Bangladesh will look to exploit that weakness again while Australia will try to resolve to batting issue to assist their inform bowlers and win the match to keep the series alive.

Playing XIs:

Australia: Ben McDermott, Alex Carey (wk), Mitchell Marsh, Moises Henriques, Matthew Wade (c), Dan Christian, Ashton Turner, Ashton Agar, Nathan Ellis, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood.
