Bangladesh spin coach Rangana Herath is happy with the spinners. The way Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz bowled against the Afghans, Herath was impressed with them.

Bangladesh spin department showed outstanding performance against Afghans. Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz together took Afghanistan’s 6 wickets. Afghanistan could not capitalize and lost the match eventually. Herath is 100% satisfied with the performance of the spinners.

He said, "To be honest they were 10 out of 10 (Shakib and Mehedy against Afghanistan) because they read the pitch well. So, then they analyzed which line and which length that they needed to bowl. And they had a very attacking field setting as well. So, in that case, I'm 100% happy with how they bowled actually."

There’s been a rumour that Mahedi Hasan or Nasum Ahmed can be seen as the sixth bowler in the XI against England. Herath, however, is reluctant to reveal anything right now. He added, "It's all up to the conditions and I'm sure if you really needed another extra option then selectors and the coach, captain, they will have a proper discussion and they will decide tomorrow."

Bangladesh will face the defending champions England tomorrow in Dharamsala.
