Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief Nazmul Hasan Papon made his presence in the opening ceremony of the Late President Zillur Rahman first division league in Kishorgonj. World number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and cutter master Mustafizur Rahman accompanied him in the ceremony. 'They said we never saw such kind of cutters'

The ceremony took place at the Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam Stadium in Kishorgonj where thousands of spectators gathered to watch Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman. They cheered for the national team stars when the helicopter carrying them landed in the stadium. During his speech in the occasion, BCB chief exampled the 18th of the final of the Nidahas Trophy 2018 done by Mustafizur Rahman where he conceded a single run claiming one wicket. Nazmul Hasan said, “Indian batsmen might thought they could finish the game in six deliveries that Mustafizur Rahman bowled in the 18th over. But they could not make contact with bat and ball in any of them.” “There were cutters after cutter; later Indians said to me that they never saw such bowling. It was sheer misfortune that we lost the final in the last ball of the match. But our boys fought bravely. They shook the cricket world,” BCB head said. “We have been doing well not only in one day cricket but also in Test cricket. We defeated teams like Australia and England in Test cricket; defeated Sri Lanka in their own soil during the centenary Test match of Bangladesh. Now we have we can do well in T20I cricket as well,” he added.
