The fifth and final T20I between England and the West Indies has been abandoned due to heavy rain in St. Lucia. England have clinched the T20I series by 3-1.
At the very beginning, England opted to bowl first, West Indies had a pretty solid start as their opening duo once again got settled in and were raced to 44 runs inside the five overs without losing any wickets. And then rain arrived and the persistent rain enforced to call off the match.
The visitors wrapped up the series with two games remaining and West Indies had a consolation victory in the last game. In the fifth T20I, the match was abandoned.
While England lost the ODI series 2-1. And won the T20I's by 3-1. Saqib Mahmood was adjusted as the player of the T20I, as he claimed 9 wickets in 4 matches at an eye-watering average of only 10.56 and an economy rate of 6.33.
West Indies now have a task to shift themselves to the red ball against Bangladesh. The two-match Test series begins from Friday November 22 in Antigua.
This will be a complete tour for Bangladesh as they'll play two Tests, 3 ODI's and 3 T20I's in the Caribbeans.
