Foreign cricketers are at the center of attention every season of BPL. This time is no exception. Generally, foreigners keep coming and going throughout the season. However, before the start of the season, Sylhet Strikers informed about when the foreign cricketers would play and when they would not play.
Sylhet's five foreigners Harry Tector, Ben Cutting, Samit Patel, Dushan Hemantha, and Benny Howell will play the entire season. Among the rest, two Zimbabwean cricketers Ryan Burl and Richard Ngarava will play from January 19. On the other hand, West Indies pacer Shannon Gabriel can play from January 25.
Sylhet played the final under the leadership of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza in the last season. The BPL campaign of Sylhet Strikers will start with a match against Chattogram Challengers on January 19.
