However, before the start of the season, Sylhet Strikers informed about when the foreign cricketers would play and when they would not play.

Sylhet's five foreigners Harry Tector, Ben Cutting, Samit Patel, Dushan Hemantha, and Benny Howell will play the entire season. Among the rest, two Zimbabwean cricketers Ryan Burl and Richard Ngarava will play from January 19. On the other hand, West Indies pacer Shannon Gabriel can play from January 25.
