Australia thrashed Pakistan by 7 wickets to complete the cleansweep on Monday (November 18) in Hobart. Aaron Hardie's career-best bowling figure of 21-3 and Spencer Johnson, Zampa's two each played key roles in dismantling Pakistan's batting order to a paltry 117 runs on a batting surface. In reply, Marcus Stoinis put on an entertaining show and clobbered 61* off 27 to aid Australia complete whitewash with 51 balls to spare.


Opting to bat first, Pakistan were flying in the powerplay, Hasebullah Khan and Babar Azam smashed boundaries as Pakistan reached to 58-1 after the end of the powerplay. But Pakistan lost the plot thereafter, Aaron Hardie came in and Usman Khan and Agha Salman in consecutive overs with Adam Zampa bowled a superb economical spell.

Babar Azam was in sublime touch and top scored 41 off 28 balls before Zampa knocked him over. Haseebullah Khan rode on his luck to his 24 and none of the batters stepped up as Pakistan were bundled out for 117 runs. Hardie had his career-best figure of 21-3, while Zampa and Spencer shared two wickets each.
