Sri Lanka are way ahead of Bangladesh after the day 3 in Chattogram test. Bangladesh were bowled out for only 178 runs and were trailing Sri Lanka by a mountainous 353 runs. Only Mominul offered some resistance today, he was solid but others didn’t stay with him. Asitha Fernando was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka as he picked up 4 wickets. And then Sri Lanka came to bat in the second innings and their score reading are 102-6, effectively 455 runs.

Sri Lanka now have a lead of 455 runs still they're not satisfied and want 500 run lead atleast. After the day 3, Sri Lanka have stretched their commendable position in this Chattogram Test. Sri Lankan bowling coach Dharshana Gamage said they want to bat one more session to pass the 500 run barrier.

"We've to score 50-60 more runs. We're already in a good position. Tomorrow we want to throw a good target to Bangladesh."

"We still have 6 sessions left in this test. We want to score as much possible in the morning session. If we get 50 runs more, we'll have a total of 500 run. If we bat out the first session, we will have 5 sessions left to bowl at Bangladesh. Also fast bowlers can get rest in this break time." - Dharshana Gamage added.
