Sri Lanka bring in Ramesh Mendis for the second Test against Australia
Sri Lanka have released seamer Vishwa Fernando and top order batter Lahiru Udara from the squad, while they've fetched in Ramesh Mendis for the second and final Test against the Aussies.

Sri Lanka have added Ramesh Mendis for the second Test against Australia, which commences from Thursday (February 6) in Galle.
Ramesh Mendis Sri Lanka have released seamer Vishwa Fernando and top order batter Lahiru Udara from the squad, while they've fetched in Ramesh Mendis for the second and final Test against the Aussies. Ramesh Mendis has played 15 Tests for the Lankans, picking up 69 wickets at an average of 30.65 with the career-best bowling figures of 6/70.
After conceding 654 for 6 in the first innings of the first Test against Australia in Galle, Sri Lanka have brought back Ramesh. Also he was in terrific form in the ongoing first-class competition of Sri Lanka, the Major League Tournament. In that tournament he has claimed 24 wickets at an average of 21.91. He also shone with the bat, scoring 260 runs at a fine average of 52 from six innings.
