Spinners make merry as KKR thrash CSK in Chennai

Kolkata Knight Riders thrashed Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets on Friday (April 11). Harshit Rana, Sunil Narine, Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy ran riot as CSK were bundled out for a paltry 103 runs. In response, Sunil Narine's blistering 44 steadied KKR home. CSK batters had no answers of KKR spin attack in Chennai. Being inserted to bat first, CSK had a worst way to start their innings. Harshit Rana removed Rachin Ravindra earlier on. Sunil Narine and Moeen Ali were introduced earlier on as the duo further troubled CSK. Vijay Shankar and Shivam Dube did stood up but played negative innings as the duo were reduced shortly.
The CSK batting lineup were crumbling and had no clue infront of a quality KKR spin attack.
Varun Chakaravarthy was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets, while Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy had two wickets each as CSK were bundled out for a paltry 103 runs.
In reply, Quinton de Kock and Sunil Narine started off to a flier, adding 46 runs inside just 4.1 overs. Anshul Kamboj got de Kock rid off but Narine was unstoppable, smashing a swashbuckling knock of 44 off 18 balls and other batters too stepped up as KKR thrashed CSK by 8 wickets.
