South Africa have named their squad for the ODI series against Pakistan, which begins from Tuesday (December 17) in Paarl. Kwena Maphaka is the only uncapped player in this squad. The squad will be led by regular captain Temba Bavuma.

Maphaka was the leading wicket-taker in this year's Under-19 World Cup, which was played in the ODI format. He was also impressive during the first T20I against Pakistan, clocking 150 kmph. He removed Babar Azam for a four-ball duck, while also had Mohammad Rizwan as well.

"The bowling line-up features one of the fastest in the game in KG, and this series offers another great opportunity for a young talent like Kwena to come in and learn first-hand from the best," Rob Walter, South Africa's white-ball coach, said. "In the batting department, we are thrilled to welcome back David and Heinrich, two of the most destructive players in the game. Overall, we are very pleased with this squad."

For the top order option they've their skipper, along with Bavuma they've Ryan Rickelton or Tony de Zorzi. The pace attack seems to be formidable, containing Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, Andile Phehlukwayo and Ottneil Baartman.
