Bangladesh beat West Indies by 27 runs to clinch the T20I series with one game to go. Shamim Hossain's quick-fire 35* off only 17 deliveries helped the visitors get to 129 on the board. In reply, three-fer from Taskin Ahmed and two wickets each from Mahedi Hasan, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Rishad Hossain helped Bangladesh clinch the series.

Being inserted to bat first, Bangladesh didn't have a solid way to start their innings as Litton Das fell to Akeal Hossain after a struggling 3 off 10 balls. While Soumya Sarkar was unluckily run-out after his sedate 11 off 18 balls.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Jaker Ali Anik scored some 20's runs under their belts but couldn’t hit boundaries at will. At the backend of the innings, Shamim Hossain smashed a swashbuckling 35* off only 17 deliveries, including 2 sixes and 2 fours to propel Bangladesh to 129 on the board.

In reply, Taskin Ahmed gave Bangladesh a flying start as he removed Brandon King and wicketkeeper batter Andre Fletcher respectively with the new ball. Mahedi Hasan joined the party by chipping away with two wickets, pinning Johnson Charles for LBW and then removing Nicholas Pooran cheaply.

Rostan Chase then came in and steered West Indies' innings with his gutsy 32 off 34 balls but when he needed to accelerate the innings he was unable to do it as he departed to Rishad Hossain.

Regular check in bowling helped the Tigers claimed a superb 27 runs victory to notch the series with one game to go.
