In a thrilling Eliminator match of the Lanka T10 League, Galle Marvels defeated Kandy Bolts by 6 wickets, thanks to a blistering knock from Shakib Al Hasan. Chasing down Kandy’s target of 121, Shakib’s fiery 29 off just 8 balls helped seal the win for Galle.

The real fireworks came from George Munsey, who single-handedly powered Kandy's innings. Munsey was in exceptional form, striking five fours and four sixes in his blistering 61 off 27 balls. However, he was eventually dismissed by Chamindu Wickramasinghe. Despite his efforts, Kandy finished their innings at 120/4.
In response, Galle Marvels came out aggressively from the start. Opener Alex Hales scored 16 off 5 balls, giving the team a fast start. However, it was the partnership between Lahiru Udara and Bhanuka Rajapaksa that laid the foundation for the chase.
