Shakib to fly for West Indies on Sunday!

is going to be featured in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for the third time. He will play for the defending champion, Jamaica Tallawahs in the fifth edition of CPL. Heading to the kick-off of the tournament, he is expected to leave county in this week.

Earlier, it was expected that, the left handed all-rounder would leave country on 28 July. But, he could not able to make his journey towards West Indies on Saturday.
It has been learnt, he is yet to receive Caribbean Visa. According to a reliable source of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), it has been further learnt, the 30-year old all-rounder will receive his Visa within Sunday. Hence, he is expected to leave the Country on 30 July, prior to the CPL 17.
To be noted, fifth edition of CPL is scheduled to get underway from 4 August.
and his side will start their mission this year from 5 August.
It can be mentioned that, alongside
, his national team-mate, young all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz will also feature in this year’s CPL. He will be playing for Trinbago Knight Riders. Heading to his first appearance in the tournament, Miraz has already reached in West Indies.
