Shakib arrives in Dhaka amidst ODI World Cup

While the rest of Bangladesh's World Cup team has landed in Kolkata to prepare for their games against the Netherlands on October 28 and Pakistan on October 31, skipper Shakib Al Hasan has flown to Dhaka to work with his mentor Nazmul Abedin Fahim.
According to team sources, BDCricTime has infirmed that Shakib returned to the country on October 25 in morning. After setting foot in the country in the morning, he arrived at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur in the afternoon. There, Shakib practiced for a while with the country's renowned coach Mohammad Salahuddin at the indoor stadium.
Another renowned coach of the country, Nazmul Abedin Fahim, also joined the practice with Shakib indoors. It is known that the captain will return to India on October 27 and join the team. Bangladesh's next match is on October 28, against the Netherlands.
Bangladesh started the tournament very well by defeating Afghanistan in the first match of the World Cup. However, after that, the Tigers lost four consecutive matches. The Tigers could not compete at least in the four games they lost.
