Pakistan thrashed South Africa by 81 runs in the second ODI to clinch the series with one game to go. Fifties from Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Kamran Ghulam helped Pakistan get to a massive 329 on the board. In reply, Shaheen Afridi picked up four wickets, while Naseem Shah had three wickets as the visitors had a thumping 81 runs victory.

Being asked to bat first, Marco Jansen removed Abdullah Shafique for a two-ball duck. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam then stitched a 48-run stand between them before Kwena Maphaka removed the former one on 25 off 31 deliveries.

Babar then found hands with Mohammad Rizwan as the duo forged a massive 115 runs stand which steered the ship for Pakistan. Babar fell to Andile Phehlukwayo on 73 off 95 balls, while Rizwan scored a well-made 80 off 82 balls.

At the backend of the innings, Kamran Ghulam blasted a sensational 63 off just 31 deliveries, including 5 sixes and 4 boundaries helped Pakistan get to 329 on the board.

In reply, South Africa didn't had the best way to start their innings as Protea skipper Temba fell earlier on. Tony de Zorzi and Van der Dussen got starts but couldn’t long their innings. South Africa soon fell to 113-4. David Miller then stitched partnership with Heinrich Klaasen as the duo added 72 runs between them before Miller's dismissal to Shaheen Afridi.

Heinrich Klaasen was the sole batter to keep going as he smashed a hardfought 97 off only 74 balls before dismissing to Naseem Shah as South Africa lost the game by 81 runs.
