The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has announced XI for the first Test match against England, commences from Monday (October 7) in Multan. Ace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is back after being left out from the second Test against Bangladesh. Young pace sensation Aamer Jamal too returned to the XI.


Pakistan are struggling to gain form in the Test Cricket, despite changing coach and captains their results have been the same. Bangladesh have thrashed them ins and outs in Pakistan's own den. They have three Tests against England, whereas they were crashed (3-0) by the Three Lions last time in 2022.

Saim Ayub is set to open another time with Abdullah Shafique will be his partner. Shan Masood will captain the team and will come at No. 3 and Babar to come at No. 4. The only specialist spinner of the XI is Abrar Ahmed, with Salman Agha can roll his hands if needed.
