Shafiul Islam made a comeback into Bangladesh's ODI squads for both the Champions Trophy and the tri-series tour of Ireland. The wiry pacer has been prone to frequent injuries and that is one reason why he has not been a part of the squad for long periods of time. He missed out on the tours of New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Terming his latest inclusion to the national squad as a “challenging one”, Shafiul said he is going to take the challenge and grab the opportunity with both hands. But he was also wary of “accidents” that take place prior to each and every series for him. [Read also: Bangladesh got the best possible squad, says Mashrafe] “I am feeling happy. But I don’t know why, accidents happen with me before every series. At the moment I am fit, and I feel good to be back,” said Shafiul on Thursday (April 20) after getting the recall from the national selectors. The issue of Shafiul’s being out of the team for so long has been injury. So now with getting the recall, he was asked how effective would his action be in English conditions. “Apart from the swing, line-length is also very important. I think I will get more benefit over there than what I get in Bangladesh. But I have to keep my line-length tight anyway,” said Shafiul. Shafiul has good memories of beating England back in 2010. But this time the mission is totally different. But according to the lanky pacer, the feeling is all the same, “Of course I am feeling good. Since the BPL, I have come to a certain rhythm. I am to where I used to be in before. So if I can keep it up, hopefully something good will happen.” He also added, “At the end of the day, what’s the most important thing is that I have to play really well. I want to continue my good work. This is kind of a challenge for me to do well after being back after so long time. But still I want to take the challenge.”
