Saud Shakeel, Pakistan Spinners Climb in Latest ICC Test Rankings
Two Pakistani stars have made it into the top 10 of their respective disciplines after their recent performances against the West Indies.

Pakistan's spin trio of Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Abrar Ahmed and Saud Shakeel have climbed the latest ICC Test rankings after outstanding performances in the first Test against West Indies in Multan.
Saud Shakeel and bowler Noman Ali are Pakistan’s big risers in the newly updated ICC men’s Test rankings. The pair set up Pakistan's 127-run win over the West Indies, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead in the two-Test series.
Saud Shakeel climbed three places to 8th among Test batters with 753 rating points. Shakeel's 84-run knock in the first innings put him ahead of Australia's Steve Smith (746 points, 9th) and India's Rishabh Pant (739 points, 10th). The top two batters remain England's Joe Root (895) and Harry Brook (876), followed by New Zealand's Kane Williamson with 867 points.
Meanwhile, Noman Ali's six-wicket haul in the Multan Test earned him 761 rating points, securing him a place in the top 10 bowlers for the first time. Jasprit Bumrah continues to lead the bowling rankings with 908 points, which is his personal best, followed by Australia's Pat Cummins (841) and South Africa's Kagiso Rabada (837).
Pakistan's Sajid Khan also impressed, climbing 18 places to 23rd with 621 points after a stellar performance in the same match. West Indies' Jomel Warrican, who took 10 wickets, rose 12 places to 41st with 512 points.
Wicket-keeper and batsman Mohammad Rizwan also rose two places to 17th after his good performance against West Indies.
Babar Azam, on the other hand, suffered a drop in the rankings, falling four places to 16th. Salman Ali Agha also fell five places to 27th, while captain Shan Masood improved his ranking by three places to 42nd.
