Root - Brook's record-breaking partnership blows away Pakistan
Triple hundred from Harry Brook and double hundred from Joe Root and a record-breaking partnership of 454 runs between Root and Brook piled up a mountainous 823 runs on the board. In reply, Pakistan were in deep sea as they are stuttering on 152-6 by the end of the day.

England have dominated the entire day 4 and outplayed Pakistan. Triple hundred from Harry Brook and double hundred from Joe Root and a record-breaking partnership of 454 runs between Root and Brook piled up a mountainous 823 runs on the board. In reply, Pakistan were in deep sea as they are stuttering on 152-6 by the end of the day.
The day started with Root smashing the entire Pakistan bowlers. He stitched partnership with Brook and then had hundred run stand. The duo hammered every bowlers and then stitched 200 run stand.
Root brought up hundred, so did Brook and England were up and running. Root butchered the bowlers and smashed a double hundred, while the other one plundered a triple ton and became the second fastest ever to smash a triple ton.
England piled up 823 runs on the board with a lead of 267 runs.
In reply, Chris Woakes removed Abdullah Shafique for a one-ball duck. Gus Atkinson then removed Shan Masood and he also had Babar Azam cheaply and Pakistan were in all sorts of trouble.
Jack Leach then had Saud Shakeel and Brydon Carse knocked over Mohammad Rizwan and Pakistan were all sorts of trouble on 82-6.
At the backend of the innings, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal stitched a crucial 70-run stand to help Pakistan get 126-6. Pakistan are 115 runs away and England are clearly favourites now.
