Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has been appointed as the captain of the Vancouver Knights for the Global T20 Canada 2024. Seven Pakistani stars, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Asif Ali, Mohammad Amir, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Nawaz, will be participating in the tournament.

Babar Azam will also play for the Knights under Rizwan's captaincy. Alongside Babar and Rizwan, Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali will represent the Vancouver Knights. Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz will play for the Toronto Nationals, and Iftikhar Ahmed will join the Bangla Tigers Mississauga. The tournament is scheduled to run from July 25 to August 11.
