The decision has been taken following the advice of Sindh Government late Thursday afternoon to provide protection and safety to spectators, players, officials and media. PCB has also advised all players to avoid shaking hands and have also seek assistance from the fans for not approaching to players for autographs, photographs and selfies.
The decision will come into effect from Friday, 13 March. For the match scheduled in the previous day, PCB authorities and the Sindh Government have strongly advised the spectators to take all necessary precautionary measures.
However it is stated that the measurements will not make any impact commercial partners.
PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said,
