In due time of conversing between Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the highest authority of cricket (ICC), the governing body is looking for an alternative venue in the similar time zone.
According to a report in GEO TV, Pakistan expressed their keen interest to serve as the hosts of the event. Ahmedabad Mirror further stated, Pakistan is looking to arrange the tournament in the United Arab Emirates with an option of playing a few matches in Pakistani soil.
