Nepal and Oman emerged victorious from their respective semi-finals of the Asian Qualifiers to book their place in the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup. Oman convincingly defeated Bahrain by ten wickets, while Nepal completed a challenging fightback and took the United Arab Emirates with them took eight wickets.

Aqib Ilyas took a four-wicket haul while conceding just ten runs to help Oman restrict Bahrain to 106 for 9. Openers Kashyap Prajapati and Pratik Athavale managed the chase without much fuss and finished the job with less than six overs to spare .

For Nepal, economical bowlers Kushal Malla and Sandeep Lamichhane held UAE to 134 for 9. Vriitya Aravind scored a half-century but found little support in UAE's innings. Nepali opener Asif Sheikh then scored an unbeaten 63, sealing his team's victory and history.

With Nepal and Oman securing their places in the 2024 T20 World Cup to be played in the West Indies and the USA, a total of 18 teams have now consolidated their positions. The final two places for the tournament will be determined in the African qualifiers, which are scheduled to end at the end of the month.
