On Day 1 of the third and final Test between Pakistan and England in Rawalpindi, Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan was at his lively best, adding a touch of humor to Pakistan’s dominant performance. As England’s batting order collapsed under pressure from Pakistan spinners, Rizwan couldn’t resist teasing England batter Harry Brook after he played a defensive shot against Noman Ali.
During the 22nd over of England’s first innings, Rizwan’s comments were picked up on the stump mic, as he mockingly asked Brook, “no more bazzball" playful jab at England’s aggressive playing style under the “Bazball” philosophy.

Former England captain Nasser Hussain, who was commentating at the time, emphasized the need for England batters to play with a straight bat on Rawalpindi’s rank turner. Hussain remarked that Brook, trained to handle spin with shots towards the leg side, struggled against Pakistan’s spinners. His struggles continued, as he was dismissed cheaply once again, returning with just 5 runs after earlier low scores of 9 and 16 in the series.
Sajid Khan and Noman Ali’s lethal spin combination was the key to Pakistan’s success, as they dismantled the England lineup. Sajid Khan finished with outstanding figures of 6/128, while Noman Ali contributed with 3/88. England’s lower order, led by Jamie Smith (89) and Gus Atkinson (39), showed some fight, helping the visitors post a total of 267.
