The three-match ODI series between New Zealand Australia is set to start next week and Blackcaps have added off-spinner Will Somerville and medium pacer Seth Rance to the squad.
Somerville has already become a familiar face in New Zealand side after picking up 7 wickets against
on his debut Test and which also secured a historic win for New Zealand in Abu Dhabi. However, the 34-year old has no experience in the limited-overs for New Zealand yet. He played for New South Wales (NSW) between 2014 to 2018.
Meanwhile, Rance has last played for New Zealand in a T20I against Pakistan last year. New Zealand have named a not so familiar squad for the series as most of their players are currently playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Wicket-keeper batsman Tom Latham will lead the side in the unofficial series
However, Australia will have all the players of the World Cup squad available for the series.

: Tom Latham (c), Todd Astle, Hamish Bennett, Tom Blundell (wk), Doug Bracewell, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Henry Nicholls, Seth Rance, Hamish Rutherford, Blair Tickner, George Worker, Will Young, Will Somerville.
